Why we made it
This one started in the most BarkShirt way possible, with a real tiny dog judging us during a workday. A friend of the shop brought in her Chihuahua mix, Beans, while we were packing orders. Beans was offered a bed, rejected it, stood on a flattened cardboard mailer instead, and watched the entire room with visible disappointment. When the label printer jammed, Beans barked once, sharply, as if to say, “I had concerns about this department.” When someone opened a bag of chips, he appeared from nowhere and stared until the tax was paid.
By lunch, the phrase “tiny body, big opinions” was written on a sticky note next to the packing tape. We knew it needed a design that treated the joke with ridiculous seriousness. Not a simple cartoon. Not a plain slogan. This dog needed ceremony. He needed banners. He needed a parlor. He needed a crest fit for the ancient order of dogs who refuse to be ignored by anyone, ever.
