Why we made it
This design started during a very specific BarkShirt packing night. Then a third. Within five minutes, it sounded less like a block and more like a battle of the bands where every singer had fired the drummer.
One of us said, “He’s still up there howling,” because the original dog refused to yield the stage even after the siren had faded. That line sat on the whiteboard for three days. At first, we imagined a wolf on a cliff, very dramatic, very serious. But BarkShirt is for the dog-loving servant, not the wilderness documentary crowd. We needed a dog who had clearly been brushed by someone, ignored that kindness, and then chosen chaos anyway.
So Ruckus got a microphone. Then he got an amp. Then the drum kit appeared, because any proper nuisance deserves support musicians. The final touch was making him look just fluffy enough that you would forgive him by breakfast.
