Why we made it
This one started during a watch party that was supposed to be casual. It was not casual. Someone brought a whiteboard. Someone else paused a replay to argue about spacing. Meanwhile, the host’s border collie, Mabel, kept nudging a half-deflated ball under the couch, retrieving it, and presenting it to whichever human was currently yelling the loudest. By halftime, nobody agreed on tactics, but everyone agreed Mabel had the best motor on the pitch.
The next morning, the phrase “always on Team Dog” was still sitting in our notes app. It felt like BarkShirt immediately, the perfect shirt for dog lovers who enjoy the spectacle but refuse to pretend the humans are the main event. We built the design around the feeling of a championship badge, then gave the badge to the creature most likely to chase the ball, forgive the bad calls, and still be ready for overtime.
