Dogs Over Everything Tee

Some shirts whisper your priorities. This one kicks the door open, tracks mud across the rug, and announces that the meeting can wait because three dogs have taken the floor. Dogs Over Everything is our new daily drop for anyone whose calendar, couch, camera roll, and emotional stability are already managed by a small furry board of directors.

The Pack Has Entered the Chat

The artwork is staged like an old protest poster after a very serious incident at the treat cabinet. Giant orange letters stack across the top and bottom, loud enough to be heard over a vacuum cleaner: DOGS OVER EVERYTHING. In the middle, three dogs stand shoulder to shoulder on cracked pavement with smoke and comic-book chaos behind them. Nobody is asking permission. Nobody is taking notes. The pack has arrived, and they have opinions.

At center is Rocco, our boxer with the thousand-yard stare of a dog who has watched you say “just five more minutes” on your laptop for the third time. He is tall, alert, chest out, paws planted, the natural spokesperson for the cause. On his left is Cricket, a scruffy terrier with the suspicious eyebrows of a neighborhood watchdog who knows exactly which delivery driver carries biscuits. On the right is Brenda, a bulldog built like a disappointed landlord, wearing the expression of someone who has already judged your life choices and found them insufficiently dog-focused.

Together they make the joke work. The phrase is big, heroic, almost absurdly dramatic, but the faces are what sell it. Rocco looks noble. Cricket looks ready to start a group text. Brenda looks like she has canceled your plans for you. This is not sweet little “I love my dog” energy. This is a dog lover t-shirt with a bold pack mentality, made for the servant who knows exactly where they rank in the household.

The Mood: Dramatic, Snarky, Completely Reasonable

We wanted this design to feel like a movie poster for the only revolution we would actually attend, one demanding longer walks, better snacks, and full custody of the good blanket. The orange type gives it that vintage pulp punch, while the navy shirt keeps the whole thing wearable instead of costume-y. It has grit, texture, and just enough apocalyptic background smoke to suggest that something has gone terribly wrong, possibly because someone said “no dogs on the furniture.”

The statement is blunt because dog people do not need a paragraph. We already know the hierarchy. Work is important, sure. Brunch can be nice. Social obligations exist. But if a dog puts a chin on your knee and sighs like a tiny Victorian widow, the entire agenda changes. That is the snark inside the shirt: it pretends to be extreme while quietly describing a completely normal Tuesday.

Why We Made It

The idea started during a BarkShirt planning session that was supposed to be about “priority themes.” Very professional. Very organized. Then someone’s foster bulldog, Mabel, pushed through the door, planted herself in the middle of the sample pile, and refused to move unless paid in cheddar. The conversation stopped. Phones came out. Someone missed a call. Someone else said, “Well, dogs over everything,” and the room went quiet in that way rooms go quiet when a shirt has just walked in and sat down.

We sketched the first version with one dog, but it felt too tidy. Dog people rarely love dogs in theory. They love the whole messy coalition: the anxious one, the bossy one, the elegant one, the goblin one who eats tissues. So we built a three-dog lineup with different kinds of authority. Rocco became the statesman, Cricket the instigator, and Brenda the enforcer. By the end, the design felt less like a slogan and more like a tiny canine cabinet declaring policy.

If your life is already run by paws, sighs, side-eye, and the sacred sound of kibble hitting a bowl, this funny dogs over everything shirt is not really a joke. It is documentation.

Wear it to the park, the coffee run, the vet lobby, or anywhere humans need a gentle reminder of the natural order. The pack has spoken.
