That sentence stuck around the studio. Drafted before I was born. We kept talking about the dog dads who do not treat the title like a novelty. They treat it like a calling, complete with routines, gear, emergency towels in the truck, and a suspiciously detailed understanding of digestive schedules. The first sketches were too cute. Then too military. Then too outdoorsy. The design finally clicked when the boots came in. Suddenly it was not just a dog portrait. It was a relationship. The shepherd and the servant, the boss and the guy with thumbs.
We chose the cracked, vintage print style because dog dad pride should not look freshly laminated.
